Coaching Vs Therapy

What's the difference?

  

Coaching and therapy both stive for self-improvement, however they differ in approach. Coaching aims to strengthen, while therapy to heal. Therapy seeks to understand past experiences. Coaching focuses on present thoughts and/or habits to identify potential barriers limiting one's ability to achieve full potential. Therapy is often utilized for acute crisis, whereas coaching encourages an overall proactive approach to health and wellness, a desire to take action preventing crisis.
